Ulooka was son of Shakuni who was maternal uncle of the kouravas. He and his father lived with Gaandhaari at Hasthipuram after she was married to Dhritharaashtra.
Ulooka was a strong follower of Duryodhana, like his father. He was sent as an envoy by his king to the paandavas just before the war to utter insulting words . In the war, he was killed by Sahadeva on the seventeenth day of the war.
