Popular name Sahadeva refers to the youngest of the five Paandavas.
This Sahadeva was Jaraasandha's son and ruler of Magadha provinces. He joined with the paandavas after his father was killed by Bheema before the Raajasooyam of the paandavas. He fought on their side as one of their seven generals and was killed in the war. One of his sisters was married to Bheema, as was mentioned in Aashramavaasa parva.
