"After praying to Naaraayana, Nara, Sarasvathi and Vyaasa, then one should read the Jayam."

DEDICATED TO MY DEAR NIECE VYSHNAVI KRISHNA

KSHEMADHOORTHI

( The KSH in this name is pronounced like 'ctio' in 'action', DH like a hardened 'th' in 'brother' and 'th' like 'th' in 'with'.)

Kshemadhoorthi was a king who fought on the kouravas' side. He was killed in the war by Bheema.

In Udyoga parva, Drupada mentioned the names of many kings. One among them was Kshemadhoorthi. We are not sure if it was he or some other king of the same name.

"After praying to Naaraayana, Nara, Sarasvathi and Vyaasa, then one should read the Jayam."
