"After praying to Naaraayana, Nara, Sarasvathi and Vyaasa, then one should read the Jayam."

DEDICATED TO MY DEAR NIECE VYSHNAVI KRISHNA

KRODHAVASHAS

( the D in this name is pronounced like a hardened sound of 'th' in 'brother' and 'sh' like the special 'sh' sound, between 's' in 'sum' and 'sh' in 'she'. The last s indicates plural number.)

Krodhavashas are a group of deities in the heaven. They are born to Kashyapa (a prajaapathi ) and one of his wives, Krodha . They will discard the virtues of people who stick to indecent company. This group was mentioned in Aadi parva and Mahaaprasthaanika parva.

"After praying to Naaraayana, Nara, Sarasvathi and Vyaasa, then one should read the Jayam."
