DANDADHAARA

( The first D in this name is pronounced like 'th' in 'brother', the second like 'd' in 'den' and the DH like a hardened sound of 'th' in 'brother' .)

Dandadhaara was a king who fought on the kouravas' side. He was an elephant-mounted fighter like the great Bhagadaththa. He was killed in the war by Arjuna on the Sixteenth day, just like Bhagadaththa, along with his tusker.

In Udyoga parva, Drupada mentioned the names of many kings. One among them was Dandadhaara. We are not sure if it was he or some other king of the same name.
