BRIHADBALA

( The RI in this name is not a consonant sound . Though it sounds like RI in 'ring, it is a special vowel like RI in 'krishna' or 'kripa'. The D is pronounced like 'th' in 'brother'. The L is pronounced like 'l' in 'luck'.)

Brihadbala was a king of Kosala provinces. He was a descendent of Lord Raama's dynasty. He fought on the war on the Kouravas' side. He was killed by Abhimanyu on the thirteenth day.

In Udyoga parva, king Drupada mentioned many kings, to seek help from. Brihadbala was one of them. We are not sure if it was he or some other one of the same name.
