UPASHRUTHI

( The SH in this name is pronounced like the sound between those of 's' in 'sit' and 'sh' in 'she' . The TH is pronounced like 'th' in 'with'.)

Upashruthi is a goddess. She is the goddess of night and she portends the fate of people who pray to her. Indra's wife Shachi prayed to her for searching and finding the place where Indra hid due to his fears from Nahusha.

Also, Upashrithi means a verbal omen that is heard at the time of talking abot a certain thing or discussing a certain thing. If the words that are heard are encouraging and imperative of good, that is considered to be a upashruthi for the plans.
